I'd also recommend trying out a couple kits if you are able to ferment 5 gallons. It'd give you some reference points for recipes and help you work out the process.

Welcome to the best hobby ever.

Grain Request

Can you please add Malteries Franco Belges and Castle to your list of grain suppliers? Also I noticed some grain have a Supplier but no Origin. (e.g. Dingeman's Aromatic (Amber 50). It'd be nice to see that cleaned up over time. In any case, I love the ability to customize water per recipe and am st...

Awesome Jeff...I got hooked on the iPhone App when I moved to BeerAlchemy for a while. (I switched back to your software because of how nice you allow for individual water chemistry per batch and user interface). It syncs and allows you to carry your recipes with you and adjust inventory on the fly,...

Mash Hops IBU contribution

I am not sure what the "standard" is but I've found most recipes I use tend to treat the IBU contribution of mash hops as equal to a 20 min boil addition. That also seems to match how some other software treats those additions. Can you explain why mash hops contribute no IBUs in your softw...

Is there an answer to this question somewhere? I'd really like to print the water chemistry or add the salts and waters to my ingredients for each batch.

Thanks for the help. Love BTP 1.5 on my Mac.

Back to BeerTools...

I used BeerTools for quite a while and recently switched over to Beer Alchemy for a short bit due to the outstanding inventory and iPhone App sync. I know I should read the forums for this, but are there any plans for an iPhone app and is the inventory up and running? Sorry of this is repetitive. Ch...
