Just bought a Stainless Steel Conical Fermenter With Tri-Clover Fitting the fitting is 2 inch Where can i find a valve for it and what kind should i look for? Ive heard of butterfly ones but what works best ?

I had just brought my wort to a boil ,however i hadnt added the hops and guess what i ran out of LP gas. To late to go and buy some till the next day. Missouri
What part of Missouri do you live in ? i know if you live North of the Mighty Moe the water is very hard. I on the other hand dont. i just boil the water up to 212* and cool and brew. i will however check into what my water really is for you

Im growing home grown Hops ,my question is this.
Is there anyway to test the hops to know how much or what the alpha acid is of a giving Hops.
Like what is being used to test it for this
