Re: BeerTools Pro version 2.0.16 Update

I have just tried the new update, and it failed for the same reason as the guy that posted the screen shots of the error. I have Windows 7 Pro.

Re: Android version

It would be nice to add notes on the BTPConnect web app. it does work on android, but it seems like its just an online version of the recipe and isnt editable. correct me if I am wrong.

Android and the future?

I have been using BTP for years, and love it. But it would be great if someone would follow up on this and the iPhone threads in the "Feature Requests" part of this forum. If its not in the immediate plans, just say it. after opening a small 3bbl brewpub and using BTP exclusively on my lap...

scaling error

I scaled a recipe up from a 5.5 gallon batch that used 9.5 lbs of base malt to a 35 gallon batch. scaling worked correctly going up, bu as I ticked it back down, the base malt read 5.9 lbs instead of the original 9.5. probably a simple problem, but just wanted to point it out

I dont have pictures, but it was real simple. on my stand, I have a center tube that goes from one end to the other, I have 3 (1 1/2" x 10") pieces of sq tubing welded onto it directly under the burners. I have 3 other pieces of sq tubing that fits into the first ones so that it can be mov...

Wok Burner!

I know that this is such a debatable topic, but I get 2 to 3 times as many brews from my propane tank using this burner Ebay item number 350270879384 than I ever did using the standard turkey fryer burners, that even with the expense ($120.00), it has more than paid for itself. it offers very precis...

Re: Sweet taste bass ale

So I brewed a bass ale clone. Ingredients from a few different sources so no problem there. I can post them if you think it will help. Anyway, I used my same techniques and no chance of contamination. One week primary. 2.5 weeks secondary. Kegged and carbonated. Now tastes sweet and a little off. A...

if the beer hasnt been infected by the ball lock fittings or something in the keg dip tube, I would be surprised. I have had something similar and both times it turned out to be from not replacing an older ball lock connector on the gas in line from my C02 tank. before I had check valves on my tank,...

how long has the wort been fermenting or has it just gone in? unless you have a refractometer that compensates for alcohol, it will not read accurately after fermentation begins and alcohol has been created. I also have one I got off ebay over a year ago, and it works great during the brew day, but ...
