I understand

Hey dude, believe me, I have built all of my stuff too. That isn't what I meant. I mean simply don't cut costs so much that you end up with something that doesn't work. I know, I bought a brew kettle, a 15.5 keg with the top cut, I paid $20 for it because it was bent on the bottom. Later, I found a ...

Stop jumping over dollars to pick up pennies

Dude, it is too easy to set up the real thing! By the time you get all of that other stuff,"made to fit" you can just get the real thing. A roll of copper tubing is what? 10 bucks? slow down, look around, there is probably a better way!

Maybe?

Personally I built my own and I kept it simple. The more plumbing that you have the more difficult the sanitation. www.brewtree.com has some cool stuff too. Space is the issue. If you brew outside, the tree type stand is better and this system is flawless.

The KGB

Dude, the KGB is gone since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Homeland Security would just laugh if they saw the site. Our homebrew club is the Kuykendahl Gran Brewers. Yes, we have a Russion theme, but that is it. We have some cool links to other brew clubs etc. Many of the competitions are nationa...

Attenuation

One thing for sure is that there is NO definate rules! I have fermented lagers at room tempurature, then kegged and Lagered with success. I have had OG's of 1.060 ferment in 3 days or 7, you just never know. Sometimes, if using a starter, you get better results, but you just ever know. Keep Sanitati...

Sounds good

Definately let me know, I like to do recipes that have been tried out. My last batch came out pretty good, although the Amarillo hops are great accross the board, it is a different flavor, but I like it.

Its all about whatever works!

I can relate to the pants issue. I have had some extremely large legs all my life. At one time, I had to buy like 44 waist pants and have a tailor cut the waist down to a 32! Shirts the same way. I was a pretty big dude at one time, now I just have a big ber gut. I plan on changing that though!

Thats the way to do it!

I blew out my back because of a defective shoe! Sounds crazy, but you know the ones with air bubbles in the sole? Yeah, I had almost 600lbs on my back doing squats when the shoe had a blo out! It yanked me sideways and strained my back. Since then I have had to train very light and that kind of made...

Bud On Crack!

This is going to be a tough one! I am looking at like 20plus pounds of grain including rice, then another 7 pounds or so of extract. I don't remember exactly, but it should be a kick in somebody's butt anyway! You are right, if it is dark people think it is strong. Well, look at coors light, my pee ...
