It did
It took about 24 hours but it started and didn't stop for a week. I did another batch and used Edme yeast and it started 2 hours after it was pitched and stoppen a little more than a day later. Thought it was going to blow the air lock off. I don't know if that is good or bad.

What is a good S.G.
I am brewing my first pale ale and I have an initial S.G. of 1.046. Is this adequate or should I use less water next time for a higher S.G.?

More yeast
I will pitch another pack of yeast tomorrow. Should I pull out a sample of the wort and start the yeast in the wort or use just worm water????

Bubbling hasn't started
My wort has been in the primary fermentor for 36 hours and I haven't noticed any activity or bubbling in the cock. It is my first brew and I am sort of anxious. I used an Ironmaster kit with the yeast that came with the kit. It is a bit cool here. How active will the bubbling become and should I, at...
