Brewsheet
I've been unable to get this to work using a PC. BTP only generates one kind of file, right? Whenever I try to get "display.htm" to work I get "Error On Page." Java is enabled. I am using IE 7.0.

Cleaning Kegs
If you do need a brush, a new toilet brush works well. My personal preference is for the kind that's formed in a loop.

RE: Raw, Bland Hop taste
I've seen that some folks have said they get the "grassy" flavor/aroma when dry-hoping cold. I'm imagining a fresh-cut grassiness. This is more like a wet pile of cut grass. It's not that I think there is anything biologically wrong with the beer, it's just not pleasant. I have filtered, k...

Raw, Bland Hop taste
For the second batch in a row, I dry-hopped in the secondary for 1 week. I tasted this batch (an IPA) at 3 days into the dry-hop as I was about to crash cool it for the remainder of the week. It tasted great! Not a ton of hop aroma, but great taste. 5 days later, the good taste is gone--just a raw, ...

The higher the mash temp the less fermentable the wort. At 158, you're mashing at the higher end of the scale which I believe is going to lead to a higher FG, and and a sweeter beer. Even so, 1.020 ro 1.026 seems a little high, even at the high mash temp. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

To Squeeze Or Not To Squeeze (Dry-hop bag)
Is there any downside to squeezing the bag when dry-hopping. Since the bag gets so large inside the secondary, I would probably need to stick something through the opening and press the bag against the side or something. Just seems like a lot of wasted beer and aroma inside there if I don't.

I actually did use the wet t-shirt method of cooling after I noticed that the temp was getting high. As I stated earlier, the fermentation only took 2 days, so there wasn't a lot of reaction time. The temp didn't get that high until day 2. Looking at my basement I realized that, for a few bucks, I c...

Forgot the temperature correction (1st brew)
Having a good bit of experience with winemaking, decided to go straight into all-grain (pale ale) with my first brewing attempt. Everything worked out fairly well. However, during sparging, checked the SG several times to see when it got below 1.010. I measured 1.008, so I stopped. Forgetting to cor...
