Label
I would love to see a feature where I could include my labels into the recipe file. Perhaps a field near the Beertools color indicatore where you could insert or past an image file (.bmp, .jpg). I create labels for each of my beers and I've seen on multiple forums that others do the same. It would b...

Re: My Ingredients
Ingredients that I use, but don't have on hand are in "My Ingredients", but list "0" quantity. Ingredients that I have on hand are in "My Ingredients", but list the quantity that I have. That's how i think of it; is it working for you? I figure since you can sort by qu...

Recipe import from network drive
I suspect that recipe import does not work correctly from a network drive. I did a recipe scan on recipes that I had on my network drive (P) and it did not find any recipes. However, when I copied the same recipe folder to my desktop and did a scan all my recipes were found.

Ingredient Database, My Ingredients, and Inventory
I brewed my first full session using BTP 1.5 today. Overall the program worked great. I have a few questions and possibly a suggestion regarding ingredient management. I don't think I quite understand how to effectivelly use the my ingredients folders. In my brew session I had one hop (Summit), and ...

Re: Editing the Shopping|Inventory List? re jeff
I have the ingrediants listed in My Ingrediants. I don't see any way to edit the amounts that I have and the shopping list has no options to do so as well. Can you click on the quantity column next to each ingredient to edit the amount? I had the same issue yesterday when I first started using the ...

I'm also in the camp of avoiding lined tables, it looks too cluttered and difficult to read IMO. I like the current BTP format better, including the idea of being able to rearrange the order of ingredients. Since different folks have different desires, perhaps there is a way to make different printo...

Mine is 1280x1024, but I don't see a choice for that.

Re: HLT Dead Space
Any vessel that is created has an identical edit window. So your HLT should have a Dead Space field just like your Mash Tun and Boil Kettle. Yes, I have two vessels entered, 1 mash tun and 1 HLT. However in the sparge scheduler, only the mash tun dead space is considered. In this window: Volume - R...

Re: re: First time
Looks like you hit and conquered a lot of the typical roadblocks. As far as Dead Space is concerned, go to Equipment or Vessels and Edit your Mash Tun. In the top half of the screen you will see an entry for Dead Space. Thanks. I was able to find where to enter the dead space for my mash tun, but n...

First BTP batch - feedback
Just brewed my first batch in beertools pro. I am a long term promash user and recently switched to btp due to it's features and active development team. Here are my thoughts after the first batch... Things that are great: - No issues during install or equipment calibration. Calibration feature is v...
