Wheat beer recipe ideas??
My next batch of brew is going to be a wheat beer for the summer monthes. Any ideas for a nice recipe would be appreciated. Also when is it best to add a fruit extract? In secondary? Before bottling while priming?Just wondering. Thanks.

adjusting starting gravity - extract
Looking for a few tips on adjusting specific gravity. If I make about 2 gal. of wort and mix it w/ 3 gal. of water to make 5 gal. and find that my hydrometer reading is to high/low for the style of beer i'm making what can I do to adjust it before fermintation. Add corn sugar(low) or water(high)??? ...

Thank you all for your comments, I appreciate them. One note: I have not bottled yet, so final sp gravity reading has not been taken, I am hoping for a reading of around 1.012.

What have I created?
I just brewed my first batch of homebrew following a general recipe that came w/ my brewing supplies, I changed a few things. I am wondering what type/style of beer it is considered? And how the finished beer may turn out? 1 lb crystal malt, 2 cans amber malt extract (Muntons), 1 oz hallertau pellet...
