chinook hops?

just used chinooks in my first all grain! strong bitter smelling buggers they are.

anyone recommend some good ones? (hops that is.) and other then hallertau and saaz, let's see some originality.

grain mill???

ok, anyone know of a good quality grain mill? i don't want to break the bank.. hell no homebrewer does, but i don't want the cheapest ever either. any thoughts? model numbers , manufacturers.?

a status update for y'all. My buddy and I have gone to the secondary fermentor now. All of what you said seems to have happened and everyone's help has allowed us to continue. honestly man, thanks. i'm gonna shake the living heck out of it and hope for the best. now that you mentioned it, my yeast, when i took the hydrometre reading was sitting on top doing jackspit. ale yeast should dye a slow death at the bottom of my swill shouldn't it. thanks again man.

STuck/unstuck/bubling like crazy...

i am brewing a belgium wit beer, o.g at 1.054, and the first three days this beast bubbled like it had a mission. then for the next 4 not a drop of movement. dead. so i took a hydro read and it said 1.032, halfway to my end goal. so i shook the hell out of it,gently of course, didn't aerate the wert...
