another update, since this is my first partial mash, i do have to say im very happy so far, i cant wait till i crack open the first one, but im going to try to hold off for at least 3 week to a month after bottling to try one, ive been learning with Mr.beer mixes and for beginngers i think its good...

You guys are right..it was yeast forming up....grrr....I am so new to this. Thank-you, I was starting to get worried...ha ha. All is fine and I even have the right temp for a Lager...so far so good...

Guys I have some white specs on the top of my brew...this is a new batch called Sin City Lager, not sure if it is contaminated or not? Thoughts? I can snap a pic (which I should have done at first) if needed.

On the subject of Temps...I am making (o attempting to make) a San Francisco Steam...about what Temp should I have that sit at? The main reason to ask that, I live in Japan (Navy) and it is hard to adjust my temp....
