The vessel used to calculate heat loss in a rest step is the last vessel selected in a transfer step or mash-in step. The vessel setting in the decoction step is for the vessel used to boil the removal. If a vessel is not selected at some point along the way in the schedule, heat loss will be zero ...

That is the time to give to allow the temp in your vessel equilibrate from adding the hot decoction portion into your mash tun. Anyone that does some scheduling decoction on a fairly regular basis help with a question. I tried a decoction and my schedule indicated 1.6 gals as the volume. So for a th...

One thing that I have noticed is that the rest periods do not always seem to calc the final temp after the rest period. For example when I set up the schedule and after the protein rest of 30 min the temp has dropped about 1 - 1.5 deg, but after an infusion and then set up another rest period for Sa...

Data from equipment missing

I noticed the other day when I pulled one of my earlier release recipes to do again that any vessel that I have entered at a later date does not show up in the vessel section where the ingredients/ schedule/ vessels is. Then it is not available while preparing the schedule.

Re: Grain Absorption

So this is not adjustable Jeff? I would like to be able to set it at 1.1l/kg if that's possible as this is the amount I have always used and seems to suite my volume into fermenter better. cheers Andrew Version 1.0.4 is available now. The preferences window provides boxes for setting malt absorptio...

Stike temp

Is there already a way to see the strike temp of different mash/infusions steps on the schedule section. Like right after water added column the strike temp would show in a column, then the final temp. If not this would be very nice to have so that the info of the schedule is all there since not eve...

Re: Yeasts submenus

when searching for yeasts it is so busy with all the different brands. Docbee, Thanks. I'm curious if the "Find" feature in the ingredients editor is working properly for you. If you type in the name of the yeast company for example it should sort to the products made by that company. Let...

Yeasts submenus

I have really enjoyed using the program so far. The only thing that I find difficult (other than the batch sparging) is when searching for yeasts it is so busy with all the different brands. Is it possible to make submenus with "Wyeast" and "White Labs" and "Others" so ...
