Re: Database additions

I'd like to second the Mangrove Jack's yeasts suggestion. I'm seeing them increase in popularity in my brewing circles (and I've had good results too! :))

Actually, just a small request. Would it be possible to add something to export the ingredients stock list either to a text file, CSV or something? I used to keep a stock list of ingredients in a Google spreadsheet so brew bussies would know what I had, but also so I could access it wherever I was w...

Replacing multiple recipe items

This is a small suggestion, but may not be so small on the development front, so feel free to ignore :) I'm playing with the Ingredients DB and My Ingredients feature proprerly for the first time (great stuff). I just opened a recipe I plan on brewing soon that has six seperate Cascade additions. I ...

Small Bug in Text Export

Hi Guys, I use the text export alot to post recipes on forums etc. As I'm in Europe, I have BTP set up to work with EBC units. While the interface shows the style guideline range values correctly, when exported to text, bbCode or whatever, the guideline range comes in as SRM values while the calcula...

That's it! This recipe was the first one I did with no speciality grains (a simple Wit), so that makes sense. Easy when you know how eh? :)

Thanks slothrob

Hmmm... Weird. I even created a new recipe and re-enterd the one I was working with from scratch, and got the same thing. And just now I started a new recipe, just added Amber Extract, 2kg, and went to the Analysis tab to see if OG would change, and no go.

BeerTools not taking measured OG

Hi, I've just brewed a recipe and as usual was trying to put the OG measurement into the Analysis tab. But every time I try to override the calculated OG with the measured OG it just reverts back to the calculated OG. This only seems to happen with recipes created from scratch in version 1.0.27. Rec...

As it is now they are all lumped together in a generic list that is no better than I could do by hand, and hard to read on the fly -- the fermentables should be separate from the hop schedule, and I shouldn't have to decide the order they appear, the software should take care of that regardless of ...

They seem to tally with those found here: http://www.tastybrew.com/calculators/carbonation.html Fairly useful. Up to now (well, yesterday in fact) I've been using Beer Smith, and they also include carbonation guides for each style. They differ slightly from those listed above (they tend to be a litt...

As a new member I'd like to add my 2c :) The site and the online tools are great, and that bodes well for the sofware, but it would be nice to be able to try before I buy. I'm currently trialling ProMash (awful interface and too "bitty") and BeerSmith (which I quite like so far, clean and ...
