Re: Complete water profile adjustments
Perhaps by now you have found it, but there is a water chemistry calculator in BTP. From the top line menu go to Recipe >Water Chemistry, you can also just type Cntrl+Alt+H. Or is this not what you're talking about? Personally, I prefer Bru'n Water. Depending on your background it can have a bit of ...

Re: PH adjustment
Have you looked at Bru'n Water? It has a bit of a leaning curve when getting started, but it's not that bad. I find it to be very accurate. In fact I don't even use my pH meter anymore because Bru'n Water is always spot on.

Re: beertools pro on a pixel slate chromebook
I can't answer your question about the Chromebook, but I can tell you that BTP runs fine on Linux. However, you should know that it looks like any future development has been abandoned. That latest Linux (Debian) version is 2.0.22 while Windows and Mac are up to 2.0.24. Last July I asked if there we...

Linux Update
Jeff, BPT for Windows was recently updated to 2.0.24 while Linux (.deb) is still at 2.0.22. Are there any plans to update the Linux version in the foreseeable future? I've grown tired and disgusted by all of the drama surrounding the last few Windows 10 updates and have migrated back to Ubuntu.

Re: Sorting Behavior
Jeff, thanks for the quick response. On Windows 10 BTP works the same as you describe with respect to each folder having its own settings. However, this only applies to the top section of the drop down menu (Name, Style, Type, etc). Towards the bottom of the menu there is a horizontal line under whi...

Re: Sorting Behavior
I have the latest version of BTP (2.0.22) and the problem you describe still persists. A couple of years ago the sorting issue was addressed, but the ascending/descending function didn't get fixed along with the rest of the preferences on the list. I don't know if it was an oversight or there was a ...

Font Size
I just installed the latest version of BTP (20.0.21) and now the font is hard for me to read because it is smaller than before. So I would like to know if there a way to adjust the size of the font within BTP? Jeff, if this is not currently possible, perhaps it could be considered for a future update.

Re: switching to laptop
Also, you will need to copy your library files to your new laptop in order have your saved recipes and personalized settings available. If you don't know how to do this you should be able to find the info easily by searching the forum. If not, just come back and I or someone else will tell you how.

You have probably moved to Widows 10 by now, but I just wanted say I have lbeen using BTP 2.0 on Windows 10 for over a year and have had no problems.

Re: Recipe amounts allowed to be negative numbers!
Exactly what I'm thinking... also, I've been using Bru'n Water for my pH prediction (in addition to the calculations), and hopefully by the time I brew this again I'll have a pH meter. Been dragging my feet on buying one, trying to decide between the Hach PocketPro+, Milwaukee 102 or the Thermowork...

Re: Recipe amounts allowed to be negative numbers!
No brewing for me this weekend either. I have a good supply right now, so I probably won't brew again until after the first of the year. I currently have a Porter that is carbonating/cold conditioning. I've been toying with the idea of spiking it with some spiced rum and serving it for Christmas. I ...
