I assume that you have an adminstrator account on you machine? If you are logged in as an admin then you should be able to run the app - you may be promted every time.... There is a program control (can't remember what it is called off the top of my head) that you can turn off and you are no longer ...

Re: Feature Suggestion

I would like to see a scaling feature built into the standalone that will adjust grain-bill/extract and hop additions automatically. Sometimes I like to brew 5 gallons, sometimes 10, sometimes 3 for experimental reasons. If the feature is in inside BTP, I dont see it. (I see a similar feature in My...

Flaked Maize is missing and lactose has been removed. Would be great if these could be put back.

Thanks

I have edited the lactose that is in my last recipe and this still has all of the settings in it from before (although I don't know how accurate they are since it alters the ABV whn I change the amounts). However, when I clock okay, it does not add this item to the list. I would prefer not to have t...

I don't think you need to be online to use so there are no checks. Besides, you are allowed to use the software on 2 computers

I assume you mean replace a selected ingredient with another? That would be quite useful

Demo Version

While I have the full version, I know of several people who would like to try the trial version. Reading various threads indicates that the trial version is now available, but how do you go about getting hold of this? I have had a look around and can't find any way! Would sending the the install fil...

Lactose

What has happened to Lactose?

I have used this in a previous recipe but now I can't find it anywhere.....

I have checked under Adjuncts (which is where I added it from the first time) but it is definately not there :(

As a default there should be no style selected which means you can then play around with the ingredients without being conformed to a specific style. Sometimes I will create a recipe and then find the style that fits it best.... If your template has a style selected, just select the 'make default' o...

Re: Suggestion re inventory of ingredients

it would be nice to generate a short list of typcial beer styles that are often made from what I have in inventory. This sounds similar to the 'Generate Recipe' feature on the site. I think that the problem would be determining the different styles based on your ingredients. Would it need to use al...

You could always save 2 versions. The original plan and the actual beer. This way you have a record of how you planned the beer and then a record of how it turned out.
