I've been having a problem with opening beer tools files and having them open under the top bar of my screen making them unmovable. This happens the most when I open one file then another. I can't seem to move the window by dragging on the lower parts of the window. I'm using 1.0.18 on Mac OSX 10.4.8

You may be able to save your self the money and ask your water provider (if you don't have one ignore this suggestion.) for a water analysis report. Most water providers do tests every month and provide the results free of charge. Many are online and contain the information needed for the BTP water ...

I use Avery Adhesive Name badges (#8395) and Photoshop. Mine come off the bottle after a 30min to 1hr soak with a little pull with paper towel and if left longer the labels will usually fall off by themselves while soaking after about 2hrs. For inkjet labels they do quite well. Even on max dpi the i...

So how would one go about adding Lactose to Beertools...not the process of adding a new ingredient but what are the values for Lactose that should be added.

Or where would I find the values to add to beertools?

Viewing Mash Schedules Online

I can't seem to find the mash schedule used on the recipes uploaded. Am I missing something or is there no way to view a certain recipes mash schedule online?

Beer Tools Analysis Tab Questions

I've entered my recipe for a batch I did and I have an OG and FG for the batch and I'm trying to enter those values in to the analysis tab at the bottom of Beertools and it will let me change the TG reading but not the OG reading. How come it won't let me enter in the real OG reading for my batch?

Lager Problems

I'm an ale veteran but this is my first time trying to brew a lager and I've ran into a couple of problems that maybe you guys could shed some light on. First my recipe. I'm using the Propensity Pilsener Lager recipe from Complete Joy of Homebrewing. Extract for 5 gal -7 lbs (2 cans) Light malt extr...
