To me this looks just like the pellicle I get on my sour beers that I pitch wild yeast/bacteria into on purpose. The bugs form that pellicle on top to limit the amount of O2 they receive. Have you tasted any of your beers after they have set for a substantial amount of time or do you go through you...

And it did not matter if I used a hop bag or not. Are you sure this just wasn't a bad batch of hops ?? I have seen hops go bad ...

Re: Keg Me!

Well that does it! I am buying some kegging equipment reall soon!!! Woohoo!! You will like kegging. Cleaning out one keg is better then cleaning out all those bottles. :) Also something I do is cut off about 1.5 inches of the bottom of the pick up tube. That way you do not suck off the bottom all s...

And no matter how hard a cleaned it still must have harbored bacteria in the damaged parts. I replaced it and I have no more problems...

Something else you may want to get is a presage gage to test your kegs from time to time. I had 6 kegs go flat on me when the seals went on them. So do your self a favor and pick up new kegs seals and pop it valves for your kegs. You may want to pick up a new lid for your kegs to. I had one keg that...
