Re: Mac Catalina update

Ahah. I have the 32 bit version installed - can you point me in the right direction to get the 64 bit installed. (And thanks for the quick response.)

Mac Catalina update

Hi Jeff - long time happy user here - I was about to update my Mac to Catalina and it's telling me that BeerTools will no longer open with this update. Wondering if this is something you're working on?

Cheers,

Re: Mac OS High Sierra Update leads to issues

Yes - just double checked and still getting it. Again, so far, can always hit "continue" and haven't noticed any issues.

Re: Mac OS High Sierra Update leads to issues

Looks like it cleared up. Thanks! My sidebar folders have also re-alphabetized - which makes me happy. :-)

The only thing that's still happening is the attached popup when exiting shopping list - but it doesn't really seem to affect anything - I just select "Continue".

Re: Mac OS High Sierra Update leads to issues

Jeff - I did find a bug in the new version - In Shopping List, when I add a recipe (using the + button), the recipe adds to the list, but then the window becomes unresponsive. I can move the window around, but none of the buttons function, including the "Done" button. The only way to exit ...

Re: Mac OS High Sierra Update leads to issues

Just downloaded and opened it. My folders are still randomly organized rather than alphanumerical. But other than that, so far so good. Will update you if any odd behaviors remain. Thanks for your attention to the issue.

Re: Mac OS High Sierra Update leads to issues

I didn't fully understand your question about iCloud Storage. I do have an iCloud account but store limited data there - just my e-mail and some database stuff. I have the"Desktop & Documents Folders" option unchecked. I don't believe any of my BeerTools Pro data is stored there -- unl...

Mac OS High Sierra Update leads to issues

Very happy user here for many many years. I recently upgraded my MacBook to High Sierra and am having a few issues with BT Pro since. 1. The sidebar panel: All folder alphabetical hierarchy has stopped working. The folders are organized seemingly randomly and I can't rearrange them. If I create a ne...

Drilldown(?) Alphabetization

Hey gang - happy user here... I have a request: When sorting ingredients by Supplier, it would be helpful if it then sub-sorted alphabetically. Right now, if I sort by Supplier, it sorts suppliers alphabetically, but then the ingredients are willy-nilly. Thanks, Brian Confer Stormcloud Brewing Company

Hop Utilization in Beer Tools v2

Hey Guys - still love this program and getting used to the new interface. I use Beer Tools Pro in a commercial brewery and just now noticed my custom hop utilization isn't coming over with my existing recipes. Also - unless I'm doing something wrong, I don't see a way to load my custom hop utilizati...

Re: BeerTools Pro in an 8bbl brewery

Roc-Craven, thanks for the input on utilization. I was assuming it would go up and I've noticed BTP drops a few ibu's as I scale up to 248 gallons. So, yes, I customized the Utilization editor - but was guessing at how much additional.

Cheers!

Re: BTP License -- how many machines?

The software works. It's affordable. I have no issue licensing another copy for a second user.

BTP License -- how many machines?

Hi guys, been using BTP for years and have absolutely no complaints. I just added another computer to my arsenal and wondering how many machines are covered under the BTP license?

Thanks,
