Since ProMash is in line for an upgrade in the near future, you would think the Beer Tools authors would like to convert PM users. Will PM users convert without a trial? Just a thought.

Thanks ColoradoBrewer! Good info. I guess I'll keep an eye open for the trial version that might be coming through. There are a few things about PM that I'm not real happy with, but it's very usable. I'm hoping that PM gets a good upgrade, or BTP is a better avenue.

worth the switch?
Say there ColoradoBrewer, that's a nice "graybeard" you have! How do you feel BTP compares to ProMash? Would you say that it's worth the switch?

ProMash / BeerTools recipes
OK, I use ProMash on a PC, and I have a friend who uses a Mac and is looking for brewing software. Will we be able to exchange recipes if he gets BeerTools?
