Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 0.5 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 0.5 lbs Crystal Malt 40°L

    Crystal Malt 40°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 6.6 lbs Liquid Wheat Extract

    Liquid Wheat Extract

    Made with a preponderance of wheat malt (55%) for the production of wheat or Weiss beers. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 1 oz Amarillo® - 8.8 AA% pellets; boiled 30 min

    Amarillo®

    Grown in Washington. A newer multi-use hop with a nice citrus-flower bouquet and medium-high acid content suited for bittering. Used in American Ales and IPAs.

  • 1 oz Crystal - 4.1 AA% pellets; boiled 20 min

    Crystal

    Mild. 'Noble'. Used mainly for its aroma which is mild and pleasant.

  • 1 oz Willamette - 4.0 AA% pellets; boiled 10 min

    This hop is used for finishing and dry hopping American and British style ales. Aroma is mild and pleasant ans slightly spicy

  • 6 lb Raspberry Puree - (omitted from calculations)

Notes
