Home Brewing Tip

Is your beer losing its head?
Your beer tastes great, has good carbonation but it just can’t seem to hold on to its head. The problem here may not be your beer at all, but rather the glass you drink it from. Oils, whether existing on the rim of a glass or on your lips after munching on some oily potato chips, will have an adverse affect on the head of your beer. To demonstrate this, pour a beer with a robust head and swirl your finger in the head of the beer after eating potato chips or other oily food. You will see the head rapidly retreat.
