Grinding your grains in the same area you brew will likely lead to disaster. The act of grinding produces airborn dust which carries with it bacteria that will sour your beer. If you are limited with space, grind your grain the day before and allow the dust to settle; then the surfaces can be sanitized and the dust removed before brewing.
