Ingredients (Extract4 gal)

  • 6 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • 1 lbs Invert Sugar

    Invert Sugar

    Increases alcohol. Use in some Belgian or English ales. Made from sucrose & is 5-10% less fermentable than sucrose. Does not contain dextrins.

  • 1 oz Styrian Goldings -4.8 AA% whole; boiled 90 min

    Styrian Goldings

    Mild, pleasant.

  • .5 oz Czech Saaz -2.5 AA% whole; boiled 20 min

    Czech Saaz

    Very mild. 'Noble'.

  • .5 oz Czech Saaz -2.5 AA% whole; boiled 2 min

    Czech Saaz

    Very mild. 'Noble'.

  • Wyeast1388Belgian Strong Ale™

    Wyeast1388Belgian Strong Ale™

    Robust flavor yeast with moderate to high alcohol tolerance. Fruity nose and palate, dry, tart finish.

Notes

The latter 1/2 oz of saaz are to be dry hopped in the secondary

I would not dry hop this if i brewed it a second time. Over all a good Belgian blonde.
