question about hops
2008-11-18 5:40pm
Is the .25 oz of hops all that is required for this recipe? I've looked at other recipes and they at least require .5 oz of hops at 60 mins. I'm afraid to try this one without that knowledge.
bad brew

i brewed your recipe and it came out terrible. Calls for too high a starting gravity. I didn't catch this and neither did the brew store until I returned with a sample and reviewed the recipe. The yeast didn't forment all the way through so there was an overly abundant amount of residual sugar resulting in a very intense sweet beer.
