Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 6 lbs German 2-row Pils

  • .25 lbs German Wheat Malt Light

    Typical top fermented aroma, produces superb wheat beers.

  • 3 lbs German Vienna

    German Vienna

    Increases malty flavor, provides balance. Use in Vienna, Märzen and Oktoberfest.

  • 1.0 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Tettnanger

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • .5 oz Saaz - 4.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

    A hybrid of ale and lager characteristics. This strain develops excellent maltiness with subdued fruitiness, and a crisp finish. Ferments well at moderate temperatures.

Notes

Step mash @122F for 20 minutes and 152F for 45 minutes, sparge with 170F, collect enough to have 5 gallons in fermenter. Please comment if you try this OK?
