Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 6 lbs English 2-row Lager

    English 2-row Lager

  • 2 lbs Crystal Malt 40°L

    Crystal Malt 40°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 1 lbs Honey Malt

    Honey Malt

    Nutty honey flavor. For brown ales, Belgian wheats, bocks and many other styles.

  • .13 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • 2 lbs Corn Flaked (Maize)

    Corn Flaked (Maize)

    Generally a neutral flavor, used to reduce maltiness of beer. Produces beer with a milder, less malty flavor. Uses: Primarily for light Bohemian and Pilsner lagers.

  • .5 lbs Candi Sugar Clear

    Candi Sugar Clear

    Smooth taste, good head retention, sweet aroma and high gravity without being apparent. Use in Belgian and holiday ales. Use clear for tripels, amber for dubbels, and dark is used in brown beer and strong golden ales.

  • .75 oz Goldings - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 90 min

    Mild. Slightly flowery.

  • .75 oz Fuggle - 4.8 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Fuggle

    Mild. Mainly used for finishing and dry hopping especially pale ales, porters, and stouts. Aroma is mild and pleasant, spicy, and soft.

    Wyeast 3522 Belgian Ardennes™

    One of many great beer yeasts to produce classic Belgian ales. Phenolics develop with increased fermentation temperatures, mild fuitiness and complex spicy character.

Notes

Use WYeast 3763 Roesalare Bend instead if the yeast listed above (not listed in calculator). Single infusion mash @ 152F for 90 min. age 10 months make another batch identical to this, wait another 8 months, then blend the two.

I'm curious how this turned out? I love this beer and you seem to be the only one at BT who's tried to replicate.
