Pilsner lager yeast from Southern Czech Republic. Produces dry and crisp lagers, with low diacetyl production.
Notes
This yeast should be nice and crisp, that the profile I want with this beer. The 40 minute additions are First wort hops. The Carafa 11 is Carafa special de-husked Single infusion mash at 68C. Ferment at 12C for 3 weeks, rest at 20C for 4 days, rack to secondary and lager for 4 weeks min.

Indeed, it is an award-winnig reciepe. I brewed Schwarzbier for the first time in my life, and it got first place in Schwarzbier category, on a local homebrewers contest. I used different yeast - Munich Lager, because I had them at hand, and a bit different, local hops.
