Notes

Due to higher mash efficiency i've obtained a higher OG (1051), first tasting (i bottled yesterday this red ale) looks nice, have to be a bit smooth with aging. Anyway, a 1010 FG instead of 1012 makes it a bit more alcoholic than wat it's supposed to be :o) It has a very good taste of EKG and a very good head, ruby color is a must. In the next 2 weeks (at least) will be aging and then i'll update these notes. Have a good brewing!

Tasted...

finally i've tasted it... i couldn't resist anymore so i did it. After 2 weeks of bottle conditioning looks like everything went good. Malty and hoppy, with bitter finishing. Dry hopping did a good job, the only thing that is really "missing" is that cask conditioned flavour what is property of this kind of beer. Next report in 1 or 2 weeks... always if i can resist ;)

Me and my brother brewed this recepie. We had to alter it a little bit because we couldnt find all the ingredients. It turned out really good. I am not shure it taste like the original because we have only tried the original on tap in Edinburg and that was for 4 years ago. Maybe I will have to import some of the original to Sweden.
