Just Brewed

Okay, the brew came out great and I hit the OG perfect. It tasted like it will be a smooth beer. It will definatily have more flavor and body the than Bud. I did tweak the recipe a little so I need to update it. Cheerz, John

It Tasted EXCELLENT!!

I just bottled it and it tasted GOOD! This is the first beer I could not keep myself from drinking as I bottled. I drank 3 BIG glasses as I bottled. Taste & Feel: It tasted like a pilsner and had the light refreshing feel of a Lawnmower beer. I was going to tweak the recipe, but I am afraid to mess with it. I may convert it to all grain though. If you want an inexpensive smooth drinkable beer with a kick, then brew this one. I wish I would have brewed 10 gallons. Well, I think I will!

VERY STRONG!!!

Well. I have let it age just a few month and this beer will age like a big mead. I am drinking one now and halfway through I have a hell of a buzz. Now I prefer heavy, big dark beers, but this is the one beer I make that all the non homebrewers like. And it has a hell of a kick! It just keeps getting better with age. After 110 days Budweiser starts going down hill. This beer will be great at 10 years old, what with a little over 9% alcohol. I guess you could call it a Budbraggot.

BAD BEER

Change of opinion. This beer turned out very bad. I would not recommend this recipe.

I just have to say...

Is to be expected from a beer 55% sugar content. It is more like a fermented sugar drink.

ale vs. lager

was looking to brew a bud type clone, this recipe is for a ale though, BUD is a lager, big difference in crisp clean flavor.
