Discussion
Finished sweet tasting

I must admit I subbed dark chocolate malt for the roasted barley. This was also only my 2nd all grain batch. It finished really sweet, but my terminal gravity was 1.010. I talked to a more experienced craft brewer and he had a taste. He says this is too much Caramel malt. I have to agree the sweet finish really turns me off. That being said, a few people do like this sweet tasting beer.
