This yeast is a little more attenuative than WLP002. Like most English strains, this yeast produces malty beers. Excellent for all English style ales including bitter, pale ale, porter, and brown ale.

Even my friends from England loved this one! A true test of this beer. Will make it again.
Just started fermenting

I brewed this about 20 hours ago. I got an OG of 1.07 which seemed strange, so I added a little more water to bring it to 1.06. I hope I didn't mess it up. I also had a dead batch of White Labs yeast (never order it online). I pitched some other yeast (not what the recipe calls for, so we'll see) and it started fermenting. I hope it works out and didn't get contaminated while I was messing with it.
