  • 8.2 lbs English 2-row Pale

    English 2-row Pale

    All English Ales. Workhorse of British Brewing. Infusion Mash.

  • .5 lbs English Chocolate Malt

    English Chocolate Malt

    Dark malt that gives a rich red or brown color and nutty flavor. Use for: Brown ales, porters, some stouts Maintains some malty flavor, not as dark as roasted malt.

  • .5 lbs British Crystal 55°L

    British Crystal 55°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, adds mouthfeel and head retention. For pale or amber ales.

  • .5 lbs Roasted Barley

    Roasted Barley

    Sweet, grainy, coffee flavor and a red to deep brown color. For porters and stouts.

  • .5 lbs Oats Flaked

    Oats Flaked

    Belgian White Ale(wit), other specialty beers.

  • 1.5 oz East Kent Goldings - 4.2 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Mild, slightly flowery.

  • Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale™

    Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale™

    Slight residual diacetyl and fruitiness; great for stouts. Clean, smooth, soft and full-bodied.

Notes

Brew in the bag method used. Step infusion 125 for 20 min, 145 for 20 min and 165 for 20 min. Initial Gravity:1.051 Final Gravity:1.012 Left in primary for 2 weeks, then bottled

This recipe turned out wonderful. This has a nice smooth and creamy taste with great mouth-feel. Everyone loved it and I can not wait to get another batch going soon. Definitely a favorite.
