New brewer in need of a bit of advice.

Post by Hacky2447 »

I may be in the wrong forum section, and i may be going out on a limb here.. But i have a slight problem.. I have made a couple 5 gal batches of beer a brown and a heff. My car club wants me to create a recipie strictly for them, and they told me to use my imagination. They all seem to like sweet flavored beer and alchohol.. so i was thinking of useing this..

6lbs-American amber Malt
1lb- american chocolate malt
2lbs- blackberry honey-end of boil

Hops
1.5oz cascade full boil
.5oz crystal (secondary)

Adjuncts
8 oz- rasberry syrup (secondary)

Yeast- i am thnking about useing a Irsh yeast to get a clean crisp finish.

Now i am wondering if this would even work, or even taste deccent. If it wont i can't make it.. please if anyone can let me know if this would even work i would greatly appreciate it..
