Does beer ever plateau with flavor?

Post by crueli07 »

Every week my brew gets better and better tasting, the flavors are always coming out more and more. Is there a point in time when the flavor will just stay the same? Thank you.

Unlike wine, beer has a rather short life span. When you exceed it, the taste is evident. The life is variable and is based on type/ style (darker beers last longer), method of storage, bitterness ect.
So, to answer you question, there will be a time when your beer will actually start tasting worse.
