Recipe balance

Post by Bob57702 »

I hate using the "I'm a newby to brewing" excuse all of the time but I am and I've been doing a bit of reading, probably too much. This time it's about balance (malt - grains - hops) and after your earlier comment of being technically in style but undrinkable I was wondering if you will be considering some sort of indication of recipe balance for the style selected. I understand that it would be some what subjective but it could still be a good indicator if you're close to the anticipated results. The most interesting thing I've read was at beercolor.netfirms.com/balance.html. I'm sure you probably have considerable info and experience on it yourself. Anyhow a little sliding scale in the Analysis window might be a nice touch or maybe a bit of overkill.

Thanks,
Bob
