Where to find Calcium Chloride

Post by kabbo »

Hello, I'm from Montreal (QC) and I can't find any Calcium chloride or Epsom salts in the homebrew supply stores around here.

Are those available somehere in other purposes stores ?? Didn't found any in drug stores nor hardware stores or water treatment stores.

Where do you guys find your salts ???

Thanks a lot !!

Try some of the on-line homebrew stores like:

www.morebeer.com
www.northernbrewer.com
www.williamsbrewing.com

to list just a few. I've always had excellent results with these 3.

Walmart sells epsom salts, and probably sells calcium chloride. If not, you could a science supply company, ebay, or midwestsupplies.com, and see if they ship to canada.
