Negra Modelo

Post by Monkey Man »

From what I understand, many of the Mexican beers are of a style that was brought to the region by German immigrants. Many are similar to Vienna style lagers. Vienna style is similar to Marzen/Oktoberfest. Vienna is considered lighter in color and weaker in alcohol then the latter. The mexican beer would naturally change over time giving rise to Negra Modelo and others. I would recommend looking through the Vienna style.
