Hops alpha acid??

Im growing home grown Hops ,my question is this.
Is there anyway to test the hops to know how much or what the alpha acid is of a giving Hops.
Like what is being used to test it for this

Spectrophotometry....

The cheapest test for alpha acids is lab analysis via spectrophotometry. Chemical analysis is higher.
