What's on Tap

Post by fitz »

What's on tap for the superbowl party?
I will have an Octoberfest, and a Munic Dunkel on tap. Those two should cover the angles.

On Tap and in the Queue

Post by BillyBock »

Fitz: I'd like to see your Munich Dunkel recipe, I'm planning on making one next.

On tap:
1 x Foreign Extra Stout (6 months old)
2 x Maibock (4 months old)

In queue:
1 x Imperial Pale Ale (3 months old)
1 x Strong Winter Lager (2 months old)
1 x Empty

In Fermenter:
Wee Heavy Scotch Ale

I'm on a high gravity kick lately. Maybe I'll make a barleywine soon also :-)

My Dunkel is in the recipes under "My Uncles Dunkel"
I have used slightly darker versions also, just by adding more 80L crystal. I also do both an all grain and extract batches on occasion, and have substituted the Hallertau with fuggles, and the Saaz with willamette, but it is a good base recipe.
