Dortmunder Union ? became Dortmunder Union Kroner.Unfortunately this most excellent brew lost its magic with the upgrade. No doubt the recipe or the original reason why this beer was so good is now lost unless someone knows the change in recipe, mash schedule, yeast, grain bill etc that changed this beer from something that we would love to drink given the opportunity, to something that was neither here nor there. Anyone know the secret??? somewhere along the line i'd like to emulate the original beer,

Cheers, Fraoch

I have worked most of the last summer on this and have two or three clone recipes that I have narrowed to something most like the DAB.

I wonder if it was the same formulation for the UK? I have tried to contact them direct, but my translator is not compatible with the e-mail system they have and I am working on an old snail mail letter.

I'll post what I do have by the weekend.

Cheers mate,
Steve
