recipe calculator

I'm trying to put a new recipe in and every time I hit calculate after putting the ingredients in, it just goes back to blank entry page, whats up with that??? Also, what does "invalid recipe mode" mean....I think thats what it said, I cant go back and look for fear of losing what I've just typed in...
