I originally posted this in general, but then thought it might go better in the how to section....
Does anyone use the whirlpool method to remove the hops, trub, etc., at the end of the boil? If so, can you explain how this works? I have always just filtered out the wort by running it through a sieve into primary, but for the first time on my last brew, my spout got clogged. Just wondering what the best technique is.
