Select plato/brix instead of oechsle

Post by elothe »

Hi! I use a refractometer with a brix scale both for start and finish of the fermentation, is there it possible to select that scale instead of the s.g. scale? I could not find it in the preferences section.

Analysis - brix

Post by slothrob »

You can choose plato in the Analysis tab by right- or ctrl-clicking.
This seems to change all the values in the Analysis section to brix, but not the hover values over the kettle volumes.

In the Calculator, you can choose Refractometer.

If you are using a refractometer to take final gravity readings, you should read Sean Terrill's work on developing a better formula.
