Can someone help me figure out what I'm looking at, in the Beer Tools Pro edit sec. under preferences/constants. I have... specific volume of malt @ .36 qt/lb.

I believe that's the volume that the grain is expected to take up in the mash.
If you added 2 quarts of water to 1 pound of grain, the total volume is expected to be 2.36 quarts.
If you added 2 quarts of water to 1 pound of grain, the total volume is expected to be 2.36 quarts.
