Why is it grayed out most of the time?

If I create a recipe, I can only save it to disc. I can't get it into the My Recipe database, unless I export to beer.xml then import (losing stuff along the way)

What I do is click on the recipe folder i want to save to, and then click the double disk (save as copy) icon on the open recipe and it adds it to my folder. Hope this helps.

I don't know why that option is greyed out, but I always go to the menubar and choose File>Save or Save As, then navigate to the Beertools folder and open the Recipes folder.
