To Pitch Or Not To Pitch
Hi, I brewed an IPA about 3 to 4 weeks ago. My OG was 1.08 to 1.09, but it has stopped at 1.025. I was wondering, should I pitch more yeast to bring the FG down, and if so, do I need to airate? Will I be risking contamination if the yeast doesn't start fermentaion, and can I just pour in some dry yeast, some Safale US-05?

more yeast
You could try adding some US-05. If it's a stuck fermentation, that's probably a good yeast to try. However, it can be tough for yeast to get going in such high alcohol. A common recommendation is to start the yeast in a bit of fresh wort, then add the whole starter at high krausen, hoping that the yeast will have some momentum and continue fermenting the beer.
