reusing commercial bottles

I was wondering, can you reuse commercial pop top bottles, for instance could i save my sam adam's bottles, clean and sanatize them and recap them with my own beer inside?

For god sake Yes! If it saves you money do it. I reuse as many as I can

Oh ya! The best part is you can tell your wife that you have to buy craft beer to get the quality bottles to reuse for brewing. If she tells you that it makes no sense for you to spend more money on beer you buy to spend more money on beer you make tell her your making her a hard cider. It's cheap, it takes litterally 5 min and you can make it 7% and tell her it's 5%. They drink it like candy.
