How to use a conical fermenter?

Bill, I knew you weren't doing that and I didn't take it that way at all. I've read all the same type of complaints about conicals. And to tell you the truth, I was contemplating about not doing it, until I found the SS hopper. Then I had to do it. Either way, it should be a fun experiment. I like tinkering with things anyways and giving myself headaches.
I do kinda like the idea of the V-Vessel's container to collect the trub. I may give that a try as well.
As far as you height issue, you should make some kind of a stand for it to sit on. That way you wouldn't have to lift that heavy thing around before you rack....and you won't have to bother the wife.
