How can you use the same vessel for two different recipes? I entered in all the parameters for my mash tun but when I tried to use it for another recipe the vessel is not there.

Drag the vessel to the inventory, then you can add it to the equipment list in subsequent recipes. If you add all your equipment then create a default or template, you can easily have all the vessels appear magically in new recipes.
