fermentation froth
Tried my first oatmeal stout. Added nutmeg. During primary and secondary fermentation, a white bubbly froth developed on the top. The first time i've ever seen this and wondered if it is normal or not. Will this go away during bottling or should i even attempt it?

sounds like a healthy krausen, it should fall back into the beer in a few days.

Yup, sounds normal to me. As long as you're not planning on bottling it right now, you should be fine.

It was moved to the secondary carboy about a week and a half ago. It's been in a dark closet about room temp. I was actually thinking about moving into another carboy and letting it ferment for another week or so to see what happens. I could possible take a pic for postings sake, which is probably what i'll do tomorrow.
