.com or download?
Any sage advice on whether buying the downloadable version of BTP or the online version is better?

BTP
I guess it would depend on where your brewing skills are at this point. Are you an extract or all-grain brewer?
BTP is much better, but also more complex than the online version. I would say if you're an all-grainer, then BTP is the way to go. If you're just starting out, then I'd say the online version is a good place for you to start.
When I first started brewing, I used the online version for about a year and it did the job for what I was doing. But since moving on to all-grain, BTP is much more appropriate for the job.
